Eventide

There is a hush that settles over the shoreline as evening approaches.  The waves become smaller and calmer as they roll endlessly to the shore, the sea oats sway in the gentle breezes, and the sky blazes with unexpected color before surrendering to night.

Eventide is a reflection on those brief moments of transition that ask nothing of us except to pause and notice.  Through layers of texture and luminous color, my intention for this painting is to capture the peace, nostalgia, and quiet awe found at the edge of the day.

Eventide is a 24" x 36" acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas.  It can be framed or left unframed as all sides are painted as well.
